Dances With Dirt – Gnaw Bone offers 600-foot ridges, breathtaking natural beauty and wicked trails. Registration includes post-race barbecue and beer, marked course with aid stations, finisher’s medal. Participants will be wet and muddy. The race course has lots of brush and trees, as well as river and stream crossings.

Race Info
The registration for the race includes a finisher’s medal, service at aid stations, an ultra marathon bag and refreshments after the race. The top 3 men and women in the overall, top 3 men and women in the age groups in all distances will be awarded.
Participants must be over 16 years of age to participate in the ultra marathon. There is no age limit for marathon or less. The time limit: 50M – 13 hours, 50K – 10 hours, marathon – 9 hours, half marathon – 6 hours, 10K – 3 hours.
The organizers do not recommend the use of headphones on the course. Dogs are not allowed on the course for the comfort and safety of other competitors. The nearby city of Nashville usually has mild to moderately cool spring conditions, and it usually has the wettest weather of the year during the month of the race. On the race day, the average low is 51ºF and the average high is 73ºF.
