The Copperhead 20K is a trail run in Hampstead, North Carolina, consisting of the 20K course and the 20K relay. The race starts and finishes on a large field surrounded by natural forest and two flat and fast trails. Trail running shoes are recommended.

Race Info
Insects are to be expected during the run. To participate in the beer part of the race, a participant must be 21 years of age or older. The organizers also offer chocolate milk and gluten-free beer.
Organizers recommend to bring: bug spray, water, long pants, high socks, headlamp, running shoes. All participants will receive socks as a present.
Awards. The top 5 competitors and the best team in the relay will receive a machete. Beer Mile: the race will consist of 400-meter laps, starting with each lap with beer to be drunk in the swap meet area before each lap. The top 3 men and women will receive machetes.
