Charlottesville Marathon

Charlottesville Marathon is an annual running event that is one of the oldest races in Charlottesville. The race course is quiet roads and bike paths along the river. Strollers and dogs are not allowed on the course. The average temperature is 66 degrees.

Race Info

All marathon and half marathon participants will receive medals. The top 3 men and women overall in all distances and the top 3 men and women in age groups will receive awards. Awards will not be mailed out.

The time limit for the marathon is 6 hours, for the half marathon 3,5 hours.

Athletes must be at least 12 years old to participate in the marathon and 10 years old to participate in the half marathon.
