Charlevoix Marathon is one of the most beautiful cross-country runs in the world, which winds through beautiful neighborhoods around Ski Mountain along tree-lined roads, the lakeshore and then turns to the expansive bay.
The courses go through the historic Charlevoix neighborhoods where is shade and then out onto a paved trail that runs along the Lake Michigan shoreline. It’s the perfect place to take your kids or dogs to play in the water and wait for your athlete.

Race Info
Each participant will receive an individual T-shirt and a medal. There will be isotonic, water, syrup and a first aid kit at the aid stations. Food after the race will be served at the registration tents.
Photographers will be on the starting line, on the course and at the finish line. A link to the official photo site will be sent to the runners after the race day.
Awarding will be held by age group for all participants of the marathon, half marathon, 10K and 5K. All winners will be honored at the awarding ceremony. No awards will be mailed out.

You can find the course map and description here: charlevoixmarathon.com. All courses are USATF Certified. The course is predominantly fast and flat. This course has an incredibly high percentage of Boston Marathon qualifiers (18% of the entire starting field) because it is so fast.
