Carolina Reaper Challenge

The Carolina Reaper Challenge is an annual chip timed event. You can go on start alone or as a member of a team and complete the 2.62 miles loop in 45 minute. Free race photos, medals, stickers, badges and more.

Race Info

Feeding stations will be provided for the participants with soft drink, sports drink, snacks, and hot dog/hamburger. There will be food in kiosks as well as a truck with food and ice cream.

At the start and finish line there will be aid stations with pickles, cookies, chips, candy, chicken/veggie broth, fig newtons, pretzels, water, electrolytes and ginger ale.

Awarding: the top 3 men and women will get a custom hand made award. Finishers will receive a medal with the race logo.

The loop is 2.62 miles from start to finish. 50k – 12 loops, marathon – 10 loops, half marathon 5 loops, 5M – 2 loops. At the beginning of each loop participants will be given 45 minutes to complete the loop. If the participant fails, he will be disqualified.

You can find the course map and description here: runsignup.com. The course consists of 90% walking paths, 5% road, and 5% gravel. In 2.62 miles the course gains only 75 feet of elevation.
