Carlsbad Marathon is a very beautiful winter run with great souvenirs. Participants will enjoy ocean views and entertainment on the course. There are virtual race options with great souvenirs.

Race Info
All participants will receive a long-sleeved shirt, a premium zip-up pullover, finisher’s medal, souvenir bag and more. Special awards will be given to the top 3 male and female and non-binary runners overall and the top 3 male and female runners in the age groups. There will be no awards ceremony, awards will be available for pick up at the information booth. Awarding is based on chip time.
The time limit to complete the marathon is 6 hours (13:44 minutes per mile), for the half marathon is 4 hours (18:19 minutes per mile), and there is no time limit for a 5K race.
In January in Carlsbad, monthly average temperatures range from 49°F to 65°F, with precipitation averaging just under 2 inches for the month.
