Travis Bishop has been a competitive runner and had noticed that the lack of options for races was hampering local racers abilities.
He founded the company in order to fulfill this need for racers in the Northern Virginia, Southern Maryland, and Greater Fredericksburg areas. And here we are: the fast and flat courses at Carderock Recreation Area are perfect for PRs.

Race Info
There will be 10 water stations along the 1/2 marathon course, four water stations along the 10k course, and one water station along the 5k course. Gatorade will be available at some water stations. Restrooms can be found in the main parking lot.
Finishers receive a unique race-designed medal and t-shirt. An award will be given to the top 3 men and women overall during the awards ceremony post-race. The first male and female in each age category will also be awarded. Runners who place in the top 3 overall in their race are not eligible to also win their age groups.
The organizers will post any photos taken by staff on the Facebook page after the event.
