Buzz Marathon

The group of meditative races is on the grounds of the historic Camp Roberts Army National Guard Reservation. Revenue from the Buzz Marathon helps fund the athletic programs at Lillian Larsen Elementary School.

Race Info

The National Guard Army Museum is hosting packet pickup in the Museum Annex, just inside the base security gate. Museum and annex open during race and some military vehicles for viewing.

All participants get a t-shirt and finisher’s medal.

All races are run on the grounds of historic Camp Roberts Army National Guard Reservation, just north of San Miguel, California. This is an out-and-back course on paved road with dirt and gravel.

Runners start by small groups up to 20 start every 10 minutes.

All races are run on paved roads with dirt and packed gravel shoulders. Flat segments are mixed with gentle rolling hills and open fascinating views of oak-studded hillsides, the Salinas and Nacimiento Rivers, and abundant Central Coast wildlife.

The marathon start line is located at 620 feet and rises to 997 feet at the marathon turn-around.
