The mountains were named Bear Paw for their unique formation of pointed mountains that resemble an outstretched bear’s paw. Whether you are a beginner or not, the marathon is perfect for you. The course of the Bear Paw Marathon is a gradual transition from mountains to plains. A mix of gravel and asphalt with a few hills along the way makes this race suitable for everyone. From start to finish you’ll be surrounded by the beauty of nature.
