The Battleship Half Marathon was founded in 1998 and is one of the oldest half marathons in the South. The course is mostly flat. The organizers provide free river water cabs.

Race Info
All participants will receive a short-sleeve T-shirt and a finisher’s medal. Awards will be given to the top 3 men and women in the overall standings, the top 3 men and women in the age groups.
There will be 6 aid stations at the half marathon course and 1 aid station at the 10K and 5K races. Each aid station will include water, isotonic, gels and bathrooms. Active military and veterans receive a discount on the registration. The time limit for the half marathon is 3,30 hours.
Participants will receive water, bananas, cookies, waffles and beer at the finish line. Wilmington usually has mild to moderately warm weather in November. On the race day the average low temperature is 48ºF and the average high temperature is 71ºF.
