Baltimore Running Festival

The Baltimore Running Festival is the Baltimore Running Festival, whose course winds past some of the city’s most famous tourist attractions, civic buildings, city parks and cultural centers. Last year’s Baltimore Running Festival drew more than 16000 runners, walkers and wheelchair participants.

Race Info

Participants in the half marathon must be at least 14 years old. The half marathon is open to walkers. The time limit for the course is 5 hours (22:54 per mile). Participants will receive: a T-shirt, a collectible finisher’s medal with a unique opening shell design, free parking. Awards will be presented to the overall male and female finishers as well as the second and third place finishers. Only the overall winners of the full marathon, half marathon, and team relay will be awarded at the ceremony. Age group awards will be mailed out.

For those who can’t make it to the event in person, there will be an opportunity to run their own distance at any location. All virtual participants will receive a medal in the mail for participating in the race.

There will be markings at each mile, aid stations with water and isotonics, fruit, pretzels, potato chips, energy gel and other snacks (at one station). Participants in the race will be given the opportunity to receive a BIB by mail. This option is offered as an optional service at the time of registration. No packets will be given out on the day of the race.
