The Back Your Badge Marathon includes 5K, half marathon, full marathon and Kids Fun Run. The police, fire and communications departments have made a commitment to the health and well-being of their employees. All proceeds will go to Public Safety Philanthropy, local youth outreach programs and the Paramedic Scholarship Program.

Race Info
A participant chooses an agency to support, and every mile they run or walk will be added to the total mileage. The agency with the most miles will receive a trophy.
Participants will receive: a scenic course, chip timing with notices,T-shirt, individual finisher’s medal, individual color-coded running bibs, digital finisher’s certificate, photos on the course and at the finish line. Awards will be given to the best man, the best woman, the best male master (40+) and the best female master (40+).
Aid stations will be located along the course approximately every two miles. There will be water and isotonics at the aid stations. The time limit for the 5K will be 2 hours, the half marathon – 4 hours (pace 18 minutes per mile), and the full marathon – 7,5 hours (pace 17:11 per mile). The half marathon participants must be over 10 years of age and full marathon participants must be over 16 years of age. For safety reasons, dogs are not allowed on the course.
