Alamo Beer Series – Battle of Hillotes

The Alamo Beer Series – Battle of Hillotes is a cross-country race in Fredericksburg, Texas, consisting of the half marathon, 10K and 5K. After the race, participants can relax and enjoy the moment with their old and new friends.

Race Info

All finishers will receive a medal. Each race will have its own fun design on a technical T-shirt. The male and female winner and the male and female masters winner will be determined by gun. All awards in the age groups will be based on chip times. 

There will be water and isotonics at the aid stations. The unofficial time limit is 4 hours for the half marathon. If a participant needs more time, he must write to the race director.

Participants 16 and under will receive 50% off registration, and the organizers are asking them to help clean up before and after the race. Also participants 70 years and older will receive 50% discount. The organizers offer a virtual version of the race.

Course Map

You can find the course map and description here: scallywompus.com. The half marathon and 10K distances are circular, with participants running on roads open only for this race. The 5K race is a “out and back” race.
